Who is being called a muslim ?

Islam is based on the five principles and shahadah is the first pillar of Islam amongst the five principles.

Shahadah is a single honest recitation that required for a person to become a muslim.

However, it is not sufficient for anyone to only utter this testimony orally but rather, he should believe in it by heart with a firm conviction and unshakeable faith. One should then know the real concept underlying this testimony which means the oneness of Allah and meet its requirements. 

One must behave accordingly, applying this true faith to everything one speak or does.

SHAHADAH.

I bear witness, that no one is worthy of worship but. Allah, the one alone, without any partner and I bear witness that Mohammad is his messenger.

इस्लाम पांच सिद्धांतों पर आधारित है और शहादत पांच सिद्धांतों के बीच इस्लाम का पहला स्तंभ है। शहादह एक एकल ईमानदार पाठ है जो किसी व्यक्ति के लिए मुस्लिम बनने के लिए आवश्यक है। हालांकि, किसी के लिए भी यह गवाही देना पर्याप्त नहीं है, इसके बजाय, उसे दृढ़ विश्वास और अटल विश्वास के साथ दिल से इस पर विश्वास करना चाहिए।  फिर इस गवाही से जुड़ी वास्तविक अवधारणा को जानना चाहिए जिसका अर्थ है अल्लाह की एकता और उसकी आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करना।  अपने अनुसार व्यवहार करना चाहिए, इस सच्चे विश्वास को हर एक चीज़ पर लागू करना चाहिए।

मैं गवाह हूं, कि कोई भी पूजा के योग्य नहीं है अल्लाह के सिवाय,  बिना  किसी साथी के, और मैं गवाह हूं कि मोहम्मद उसका दूत है।
